recently finished: I read some interesting books about helping me do better around the house, 10-Minute Declutter, 10-Minute Tidy Home, and 10-Minute Feng Shui. I also read a gorgeous cookbook about sourdough. I have so many interesting books to talk about this week!
currently reading: Bad Blood, about Elizabeth Holmes and the flaming dumpster that was Theranos. I’m listening to the audio in my car, and it’s so fascinating. I can’t wait to see how and who finally brings her down! What a nightmare company! Also, I just started The Furies. It comes out Tuesday, and it’s a perfect October book. It reminiscent of the movie The Craft. I’ve not been able to get too far yet, but I will be all over it when my schedule eases up just a little.
up next: 10 Speed Press just sent me a copy of Bread on the Table. It is gorgeous, and just flipping through it, I am so excited to spend some more time with it! They talk about breads from France, Scandinavia, Germany, Italy, and Texas (the author lives in Austin), and they talk about how to serve the breads. The photography of these loaves is absolutely breathtaking! This would be an amazing gift for the bread lovers and bakers on your Christmas list.
