While these stories may lean toward the lightweight, the warm friendship between the lady and her maid brings a sweetness to the crime, and their intelligence and experience keep them safe from harm as they solve the mystery.
A Picture of Murder is another fetching installment in a very entertaining series, and it’s perfect for a snowy day, a big cup of hot tea, and something sweet to much on.
