recently finished: nothing. My eyes have been bothering me from too much screen time, so I've been trying to take it a little easy.

currently reading: Emma in the Night, which comes out Tuesday, and is a delightfully twisty look at narcissism in families. I love a good psychological thriller, and this is a really good one! I also started reading Graham Norton's first novel--yes, that Graham Norton, from the BBC's Graham Norton Show. It's a murder mystery in a small Irish town, and the secrets that get dug up are at least as interesting as the whodunnit. I can't wait to carve out some time to dive deeper.

up next: Tom Perrotta's new novel Mrs. Fletcher. Known best for the novel Election (which the inspired Reese Witherspoon/Matthew Broderick movie is based on), Perrotta's newest is a look at modern romance and relationships. I've heard lots of people talking about this one, and I think that will keep on for awhile.

By the way, have you noticed that I added a new page? It's called Bookings, and it offers some more in-depth articles about some of the books I blog about, interviews, and other interesting pieces I find about writers and writing. You can check it out here. Also, I've created a Facebook page specifically for this website, so you can like and follow me there for more bookish news and postings, including posts of all the publisher giveaways I can find. Free books! Check it out here, if you haven't already! And I probably don't say this enough, but thank you so much for supporting me here as well as on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It means so much!
