snapshot 8.13

recently finished: nothing. The week was too crazy for me to get anything extra finished. But I've got some I'm working on.

currently reading: Still reading Graham Norton's Holding, which is so lovely. I'm also reading a luminous coming-of-age novel set in the San Fernando Valley in the 1990s, Things That Happened Before the Earthquake. And a beautiful story of friendship in Stacy Ballis's How to Change a Life.

up next: my postal book club book. Kevin Wignall's A Fragile Thing. Jess Ryder's The Good Sister. But the one I am most looking forward to is Sue Grafton's Y is for Yesterday. It's not out until August 22, but I've got it ordered already, so it will be waiting for me a week from Tuesday. But at the same time, I'll be reluctant to read it. I don't want my time with Kinsey Milhone to end. I keep hoping that Grafton comes up with a way to add more letters to the alphabet, because it is just too soon!

hold on
