recently finished: After several weeks of inconsistent reading and blogging, I'm ready to get back on track. Apologies for the issues, but I've been sick. Doing better now, and there are so many amazing books coming out this month, so I need to get reading! But I did recently finish Meddling Kids, which was amazing! It doesn't come out until July, so I'll be raving about it more then. But it is so fantastic. I can't wait to share more about it.
currently reading: Crazy is My Superpower by A.J. Mendez Brooks (WWE fans know her better as A.J. Lee). So far in my reading, she's still in high school, but you already see plenty of crazy. I can't wait to get into the wrestling years. A sweet, adorable memoir of parenting by an Italian comic book creator. A cozy mystery by Dorothy Cannell that's coming out in ebook format for the first time next week. And The Fact of a Body, a sort of memoir/true crime non-fiction book about a murder and one of the attorneys who worked on the case. I haven't gotten very far into it yet, but everything I've heard about this book is positive. I think it will be a really good read.
up next: Lots of good foodie books! Two memoirs I've been dying to read, Give a Girl a Knife by Amy Thielen and I Hear She's a Real Bitch by Jen Agg. You know I will be raving about those. And Michael Ruhlman has a new book coming out about grocery stores. And you know I want to dive into Into the Water, the new novel by The Girl on the Train's Paula Hawkins!
