black trench coat style windbreaker

I live in a flat Midwestern state, so we get a lot of wind. I’m always on the lookout for a good windbreaker, but most of the ones I like are casual, like a runner would use on an early morning run. So when I saw this windbreaker, with its sophisticated look, I was in.

It looks a little like a trench coat, giving it a professional edge, but it’s not long. The elastic above the waistband gives the jacket an hourglass look, so zipping it up makes it look professional and refined. But it will go just as well with jeans and a sweater, for casual days when the weather is a little grouchy. There is a hood, to help with the windier days, and there are 2 good sized pockets on the front with flaps to close.

I love how versatile this jacket is. It’s an upscale jacket that can go just as well with a casual outfit. It’s weather resistant, comfortable to wear, and it will look fantastic over a dress, trousers, a shirt, or jeans.
