yellow cat mug

This adorable mug just makes me smile with each sip of tea. I love cats and I love tea, so I was so excited to see the design of this mug. It is so cute. It makes me happy to drink my tea from it.

The cat sitting on the top of the handle the way it does changes the weight distribution of the mug though. It makes the handle heavier, which isn’t great for someone who has trouble picking up heavy objects (like me, when I sleep on my wrist weird and it’s hurting). But it also gives me a more significant handle to pick up, which is nice, especially when the tea is particularly hot. It means I don’t burn my hand on the mug because of the leverage I can get with the heavier handle.

If you are someone who might struggle with a heavier mug, it could still work really well as a pencil cup for your desk or a place to hold bathroom essentials or a bedside holder for reading glasses. It would be a charming gift for cat lovers, whether they use it with hot drinks or not. Like I said, it just makes me smile.
