magnetic soda can covers

How fun are these? I usually finish my drink in one setting, but sometimes things happen. And having these caps around that I can put on my soda, put it back in the fridge, and come back to later are great. I love the bright colors and their mix-and-match whimsy. I think these would be ideal for families with kids (which is not me), but they are also great for seniors, which is why I wanted them.

My mother is a long-time drinker of sparkling water, and as an older American, she often only drinks part of a can of her favorite lime water at a time. I saw these, and I thought they would perfect for her, partly to keep her drink fizzy until the next day, but also because these make the drinks easier to pour. She doesn’t have as much dexterity as she used to, so that will be a big help.

I will save some back for myself, though, because how great is it that it keeps insects from getting in my soda when I’m outside reading or hanging by the pool? These would be perfect for the sodas and beers at the barbecue, to keep out the bugs and to make them harder to spill. If you knock over a can by itself, depending on how it fell and how it landed, you could lose a bunch of your drink. But with these caps on, you can knock the can over and not lose any of the drink.

Another great feature is the magnet. There is a small magnet in the top and one on the handle on the side, and either magnet is strong enough to hold the caps up. So I can store them on the fridge and grab a cap when I’m grabbing a can out of the fridge, and it’s good to go. That is super convenient. These drink covers are genius and helpful for all ages.
