desk calendar
I am old enough that I grew up seeing those giant monthly desk calendars in my parents’ offices and in television shows and movies. I used one myself one year when my boss decided he didn’t want it. But it’s just too big. It took over my whole desk and felt intrusive. That is what I love about this calendar. It’s the perfect size. It’s big enough for me to write legibly on the days but not so big it takes up my whole desk.
I also like that there are lists for monthly goals, notes, and to dos. It helps keep all that in mind as I plan out the month, setting appointments and meetings and deadlines. And the 18-month format means that it’s good for teachers who are setting up lesson plans for the year. Or it’s good for people like me who didn’t bother getting a new calendar in January and is ready to start planning midyear.
It can be used flat, on a desk, or hung on the wall, to make it easier to see the month at a glance. It would be a good addition to a dorm room, an office, or wherever the family puts all their activities, appointments, and whatnot. It’s perfect for organizing, planning, or keeping us ADHDers on track.
