turquoise journaling notebook
When I was in college, I took a basic composition class where we had to keep a daily journal. It wasn’t the type of journal where we talked about our day, wrote out the name of our crush and drew a big heart around it and such. It was more like daily writing exercises. One day I would write a satire of a food review about the cafeteria, the next day I’d think back and write about a childhood memory that was triggered by something I’d overheard. Each entry was different, still a flash of the day I’d had, but told in a creative way.
The way this journal is set up would be perfect for something like that. Each page can be a separate entry, with the day and date at the top. There is a place at the bottom of each page for the page number, and pages at the start of the start of the journal where you can add the topic/subject/theme along with the page number. So if you want to easily find the page where you wrote about Groundhog day or polka music or setting fire to your cheating ex-boyfriend’s favorite t-shirt, then you have a handy index ready for you.
This is a perfect journal for aspiring writers, to log daily writing exercises or essays or potential characters for their screenplay. Or you could just use it to write about your day. That works too.
Comes with an elastic page holder as well as a small folder in the back to hold notes, receipts, SD cards with blackmail information, or whatever it is you want to keep with your journal.
