easter cookie cutters

These cookie cutters are adorable. This set has so many options for Easter and just for spring. There are bunnies and chicks and eggs for the holiday, but the flower and the butterfly work for any time during the spring. These are well made cookie cutters, sturdy metal with an edge that easily goes through cookie dough. And they clean up easily.

I will say that while you can tell what the shapes are, these cookies cry out for icing, to add the details of the bunnies, chicks, and butterflies, and to add color and whimsy to the Easter eggs and flowers. So these cookie cutters are perfect for baking the cookies in advance and having a decorating party when family and friends come over for the holiday.

But mostly, these cookie cutters are just fun. I love the shapes of the bunnies and carrots especially, and while the decorating is not my strong suit, I am happy to bake these and let my friends and family do the icing.
