Most people who know a little about Nebraska football know that red is their color. Go Big Red is the cheer heard all through Lincoln on game days. But hardcore fans know the Blackshirts, the name the coaches gave to the starting defensive line. It’s been part of the team lore for decades, so I love that this flag is black. My boyfriend and I both grew up in Nebraska, so we are steeped in the tradition of Husker game Saturdays. And with this flag out front, we can show our fandom with pride. Cornhuskers for life!

The flag is sturdy enough to stand up to our Midwestern winds, and it’s two-sided, so people coming from either direction know we are Husker fans. Bring on the football!
