I love this tripod. It is so versatile and works great. You can hold it like a selfie stick and adjust the length, or you can use it like a tripod (my favorite) and record a video with ease. It can hold your phone vertically or horizontally, and there is even a remote control that can give you easy access to the record button.

It can hold your phone with a magnet, but I always keep mine in a case, so I clipped it on and it held really well. I don’t have a lot of experience with selfie sticks or tripods, but I got this because I was thinking about making short videos about the books I read. I wanted an easy way to make some videos without spending a lot of money, so this is perfect. It’s easy to use and has a lot of options, so as I learn more, it will be able to grow with me. So if I want to add a light, it’s able to accommodate that.

I also love the way it folds down to about the size of a travel umbrella, but can extend to over 4 feet high. I feel like it works really well for a beginner or intermediate user.
