mounted cat bed

My boyfriend works from home, and I thought it would be fun to get this mounted cat bed to see if our cat would stay close to him while he works. It took me a minute to put it together because, like others, I didn’t realize that you had to use either the mesh cover or the fuzzy cover. And then I had to adjust the inner ring, because I wanted the Velcro on the cover to be underneath. But once I got the fuzzy cover on, the rest of it came together quickly. I got the bed mounted on the desk and waited for the cat to try it out.

My boyfriend was the first one to come downstairs, and he wasn’t happy with how I had set up the bed. He sat down and started adjusting the bed immediately, moving where the bed was, lowering it, raising it back up. I didn’t even have a chance to tell him how the screws worked. He just took one look at it and knew how to adjust it just how he wanted it, so clearly it’s very intuitive to use. But the real test was what the cat would think.

When he came downstairs, I picked him and up and set him in the bed and waited to see what he would do. He immediately started making biscuits. And then he laid down. He tried one spot and then another, and then he found the sweet spot, took a nap, and stayed there for hours. Later, he jumped down, got some snacks, and jumped back into the bed for another long nap. I think this cat bed is a winner.

I was really happy to see him look so comfortable and happy as he napped in the cat bed all day, and I hope it will make for good work days for my boyfriend and the cat. If they are happy, then so am I.
