wrist brace

wrist brace

I was looking for a wrist brace for those times that my wrist starts to hurt. I’m not sure exactly what causes my wrist pain, but every once in a while, my wrist starts to hurt when I turn it a specific way. It helps to use a brace, and the pain always goes away a day or two. But I have wondered about getting a brace to use when I’m sitting at my computer typing or to help with lifting when I’m working in the kitchen or doing laundry.

I did get a wrist brace at the pharmacy, but it goes over my thumb and them wraps around my wrist, and it can be cumbersome, so I thought this one might be better. It’s just around the wrist, and it can be used for the left or right arm, which I think is a great feature. But when I first put it on to try it out, my thought was that it would be perfect for sports, not so much for daily life.

I got the large, and it’s tight on me, so it wouldn’t be comfortable to wear for spending a few hours working at my computer. But if I were to take up tennis again, it would be ideal for keeping my wrist straight as I worked on my forehand. It’s easy to use, and the hook-and-loop closure holds it tightly in place. It’s a well0made brace, and I think it would be perfect for athletes. But I don’t think it’s the best option for what I need.
