photo LED light box

photo LED light box

I am not a professional photographer. I point and shoot with my phone and let its camera do the work for me. I wasn’t sure about using a light box, and I was reluctant to try it, as I was worried it would be complicated. But I was wrong. It’s easy to put together, easy to use, and perfect for beginners.

The light box itself comes together easily, as there is hook-and-loop fastener around the walls and top. Once I plugged it in, the LEDs illuminated immediately, adding a lot of light. It comes with four different color backgrounds, so you can choose the black, white, green, or orange, and they are pre-folded so they sit right in the box without any effort.

The lights themselves have 3 settings, so you can use warm light, soft light, or white light. The front of the box has a window you can use, or you can take the front off completely. There is also a light diffuser, so you can lessen the reflection if you need to.

This is a light box that can easily be used by someone like me, with very little photographic knowledge. But I think it would be perfect for someone who wants to learn about photography. This is an easy and inexpensive way to create a closed environment where you could learn all about light and shadows, color and diffusion.

And as easily as it comes together, it comes apart and can be stored flat, making it easy to store or to take with you on a photo shoot. I am super impressed with this LED light box. It’s great for beginners and students alike.
