fireproof document bag
This is such a fantastic idea for personal papers. I used to have a small safe that was fireproof, where I could put all my paperwork about finances, taxes, home, appliance warranties, and bank accounts. But I didn’t need so much space, so I gave that away. This bag is ideal, because it takes up less space but still offers fireproof and waterproof storage for my most important papers. And for anything that I have stored on my computer, I can download it onto a thumb drive and toss that in as well.
This document bag is the perfect size for the papers I need most to keep safe, and I can just put the bag into a closet or cabinet close to the door, so if there is an emergency, all my most important papers are together and organized, and I can grab it in a couple of seconds to get out the door quickly. It has the smaller bag with it, where I can stash a little bit of cash. And it’s an easy way to store smaller but important documents, like social security card or passport, so I know exactly where they are when I need them.
This document bag has made me get organized enough to round up all my most important papers and put them in one place where they will be safe from fire, from water, and from my own ADHD brain that has a tendency to put important things in special places that I almost immediately forget about.
