I really like Meet Me at Luke’s for its warmth and humanity, the same reasons I liked the show when I first saw it. Eckart’s essays are filled with her personal stories, observations from the show, and lists of connections to people, places, books, and movies. She even includes a couple of recipes. Fans of Eckart’s blog and lovers of The Gilmore Girls will appreciate all the work that has gone into this book and can connect with these stories and their own memories of the show in a new way.
