1. Ted Lasso, season 4, episode 1. I have waited so long for this. I am excited! The first episode is based in Kansas City and shows off some of the great things we have to offer. Almost everyone featured in this episode is super happy, like Ted, and let me just say that is not really how we are. We are not specifically unfriendly, but we are not all the bubbly and irritating. Just FYI. Still, I loved the episode, and I can’t wait for the rest of the season.

2. There is a new bakery opening soon with a James Beard award-winning pastry chef. She co-owns one of our favorite brunch restaurants, so we already know just how good her cinnamon rolls are, and we will be heading to her new shop one of these weekends soon for them and maybe some pie or cake. Or both.

3. Just Shoot Me. In a clever twist, they had an episode all about Nina, based on the A&E Biography format. They showed photos of Nina Van Horn throughout her life as well as clips from her movie Foxy Trouble. It was fantastic. That definitely made me happy.
