1. Birthday cake. It’s my birthday this week, so I am happy to have already dipped into my birthday cake, and it’s delicious. Cake always makes me happy.

2. Bundesliga is officially back. I am in my weekend soccer happy place! Go Dortmund!

3. Chicken. My birthday falls on a weeknight this year, and I am planning a trip to the local zoo later this month, but I did want to have a special meal this weekend for my birthday, so we ordered from one of the best chicken place in town. Stroud’s brought the friend chicken for me (chicken fried steak for dude), mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and cinnamon buns for the very delicious win. And there are leftovers for me to take in my lunch this week. So happy about it all!
