1. It occurred to me tonight that A. I have root beer and B. I have ice cream. So I did it. Sometimes I forget that I’m a grownup and can make myself a root beer float whenever I want.

2. We finished all our print deadlines at work, so now it’s more relaxed days and coming home right after work. I am so ready. Summer is feeling close.

3. It’s Easter, so I had to get me some Cadbury eggs. The regular ones remind me of my grandmother, and the caramel ones remind me of my favorite aunt. And then I saw a redbird out front by our bird feeder, and that too reminds me of my grandmother. She loved cardinals. It just made me happy.
