1. It’s the first weekend of September, so 3-day weekend, baby!

2. College football is back, and the Huskers won their first game yesterday! Go Big Red!

3. It’s my birthday weekend, and the eating is good! There are cupcakes with decadent amounts of frosting. And last night we went to Gordon Ramsay Steak, and I finally got to try that Beef Wellington that I’ve seen on Hell’s Kitchen for so, so, so many years. The food was divine, the service was excellent, and it was just a lovely evening all around.
