1. MLS started their season a couple of weeks ago, and after a couple of games on the road, yesterday was the official home opener for my beloved Sporting KC. They didn’t win, but they didn’t lose either. Truth be told, we’ve yet to score a goal this year. We’re doing okay moving the ball around, but we can’t find the net. We are still dealing with some injury issues (early injuries almost blew out our complete season last year), so that’s challenging. We need healthy strikers! We are starting out so far with one loss and two draws, but there is a lot of season left. We can do better!
2. I started listening to Dateline’s podcast The Seduction, and at the beginning especially, Keith Morrison is playing Keith Morrison so strongly that it almost felt like a parody. In other words, I am loving every moment! More Morrison, always!
3. Cupcakes! We were watching a recent Catfish, and they met up at a cupcake shop. So apparently I was talking a lot about cupcakes, so my bf got on DoorDash and had cupcakes delivered from Smallcakes. Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, and Lemonade. Delicious! And it was such a thoughtful thing for him to do! (Love you!!)
