1. A new season of Tournament of Champions starts tonight. This is a crazy roster of chefs, with Food Network favorites and Top Chef winners. This is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to see all these chefs cook!
2. I got my hair cut today. For a lot of people, that’s not a big deal, but I get my hair cut only once a year or so. So it’s a big deal. I got a foot of hair cut off, so I can donate it. It’s just so nice to have all that cut off, to have a fresh start, and now I can go back to mostly ignoring my hair and letting it do its thing.
3. Last weekend was the Super Bowl, and while the commercials were mostly disappointing, the winners of the sports ball part were the Kansas City Chiefs. There was a huge parade for them on Wednesday, and so a lot of schools were closed and businesses shut down for the day. My office didn’t, so I didn’t get the chance to go to the parade. But honestly, I wouldn’t anyway. It was way too peopley for my taste. But I am happy that the city got to celebrate like that again, and it was fun to see all the clips afterward. But last weekend we did make a deep dish pizza, and it wasn’t ready when I wrote up my blog, so here is a picture of it. Was it as good as it looks, you ask? Nope, not at all. It was better!
