1. This week, my boyfriend had the first of two cataract surgeries, and to be honest, we were both pretty nervous about it. But it went smoothly, and almost immediately after he was back on his phone and computer like nothing had happened. We are so happy that it went well, and we look forward to another smooth surgery next month. So grateful!

2. Big pot of chicken and noodles on the stove. One of my favorite comfort foods.

3. I got a new cookbook! I have been looking forward to Nancy Silverton’s new cookbook for months, and it showed up today! Thank you, Amazon, for that minimum on free shipping! And thank you to the Santa wo ordered it for me. Love you!
