1. I’ve been watching The Dropout on Hulu, and it’s fantastic. I listened to the ABC podcast and listened to the John Carreyrou book Bad Blood. I saw that Amanda Seyfried won the Emmy for this performance, and I can see why. She is fantastic. Actually, so much of the cast is spectacular, and I am really enjoying the series. They did an amazing job with it, and I am enjoying it so much.
2. Still getting better. I wore a mask all week (okay, by Friday, I was only wearing it in communal areas and taking it off when I was alone in my cubicle, but it was also day 6 of masking, so I felt like it was okay. I was going by the CDC’s recommendations of 5 days of isolation and 5 days of masking). But I am so grateful for everyone who has worked so hard to understand Covid, worked to help protect us, developed vaccines, and worked in health care these last few difficult years. Kudos to you all! And all the thanks in my heart.
3. Working all week wore me down, so by Friday night I couldn’t do much at all. Same with Saturday. So I got to spend the day hanging out on the sofa with this guy, which makes for an exceptional Caturday.
