1. Right now the lottery winnings are big. Both Mega Millions and Powerball are over 300 million dollars. We bought tickets. Ya, the odds are stacked way against us, but there is always the hope of winning big and replacing today’s not-having-money problems with a whole new set of having-too-much-money problems. Honestly, I just want to pay off my student loans. And provide my cat with the life he so richly deserves.
2. McDonald’s sweet tea. We’ve been eating more fast food lately (I know, I know, but there have been things going on). And I do love their sweet tea.
3. Today was a boring day. We ran our Sunday errands. I did laundry and cleaned up the kitchen. I prepped some things for next week’s lunches and dinners. I got to do some reading and played with the cat. It was downright dull. And that made it perfect. As soon as I walk in the door at work in the morning, I will be stressed out. It will be a week of drama for us, as other people are late getting their work to us, but we have no wiggle room in our deadlines. I will be staying late just to stay afloat. So having the most boring Sunday was exactly what I needed, and I will keep my fingers crossed for another one next week.
