1. We had rain. We had hail (that part might not have made me happy) but the rain and even the thunder was super comforting! And it brought the temperature down. For a few minutes anyway.
2. This weekend was the start of new seasons of Premier League and Bundesliga! So much soccer happiness!
3. One playful kitten! Technically, he’s 4, but I got him to play today after lunch with a simple straw wrapper. Most nights we play balls or ribbons, and he is just so into it. It makes me so happy to see how happy he is just playing with a catnip ball or chasing after a ping pong ball or getting tangled in ribbons. His playfulness at the end of a long day is a brief respite to all the stress of adulting, and a reminder that playing keeps you young and happy and connected to those you love. Ribbons for everyone!
