1. Last week was really hot, temperatures in the 90s with heat indexes in the 100s. I know that there are those who have had it worse, but once it gets into the 90s, we get miserable, so it still makes for a rough week. But it’s cooling off. We’re down to the 80s and supposed to stay there for most of the week. I am so ready for fall! But in the meantime, I will take this. It’s August, so we’re one month closer.
2. We got a new fence! After getting ghosted by contractors and struggling with the weather, last week we got a brand new wood fence installed. It still needs to be painted, but it’s beautiful, and it’s not all falling apart anymore. I was super excited to see it come together!
