I’m a day late, as there was a hospital trip (mother-in-law, flu, all okay), but I didn’t accomplish anything last night.

As for books, I just don’t know what I’m doing. Lol. But I offer up a picture of my adorable cat, so there’s that.

I will say this. Cookbook season is coming up, with new cookbooks coming from Ina Garten, Eric Ripert, Esther Choi, Melissa Clark, Mika Leon, Dan Langan, Pati Jinich, Joanne Chang, Marcus Samuelsson, Ming-Na Wen, and Ayesha Nurdjaja. And then there is recently released Carla Bakes by Carla Hall. It will be a season of good cooking and good eating.
