Anther rough week at work. This should be an easier week, but then a couple more rough ones. I can’t wait until July, when things slow down a little. I hope.
currently reading: I’m listening to Tell Your Friends, which came out last week. It’s about a woman who grew up in an influencer family and now has gone to London to study journalism. One of her closest friends is giving stalker vibes. It’s a shorter listen (less than 7 hours), but it’s so good! I can’t wait to finish listening to this one tomorrow.
up next: The Forty-Year comes out Tuesday. It’s the follow-up to The World’s Greatest Detective and Her Just Okay Assistant, which I loved. This pair of detectives is bonkers, and I can’t wait to dive into their latest shenanigans.
And then lets talk soccer books. The World Cup starts this week, so I am ready for funny soccer rom coms. Abby Offsides is coming, but not for a few more weeks. Maybe I’ll just have to watch Ted Lasso again for those Roy and Keeley vibes. Or I could re-read The Long Game. Loved that one so much!
