We had bad storms last week, so I wasn’t able to write up as many reviews as I wanted. They really threw me off my game, so I spent some extra time on the sofa, hanging out with my cat and playing on my iPad. So I am hoping to get many reviews done this week. Because summer reading is coming!
just finished: That’s What Friends Are For, a sweet novel about four gay men who live together in Palm Springs. They put on a drag show based on The Golden Girls and struggle with the ups and downs of their lives. There are more cocktails than cheesecake, but it’s a lovely, heartwarming story.
I also finished Maybe Definitely Not a Detective. It’s phenomenal. Reminded me a little of Only Murders in the Building. Lots of heart, lots of humor.
up next: i don’t know. The ADHD is strong these days, with sprinkles of sinus issues and not enough sleep. But there will be books. Read on, my friends!
