just finished: The Jills. It’s really good. I am hoping to write that one up this week, but I also have some cookbooks I need to catch up on.
currently reading: I’m listening to the new Finlay Donovan. I’m not rushing with this one, just enjoying it. I’m also still reaing the Luke Barr, The Secret History of French Cooking. So good!
I’ve also started Society Women, about a group of wealthy women who have gathered together to bring down powerful but abusive men. Their latest recruit is having to put herself in danger in order to comply with the Society’s tasks for her. This one is bonkers, but it’s kinda satisfying got anyone who has ever had issues with men too powerful to bring to justice. Of course, I’m not far enough in the book to know what’s really going on here, as there is more here than meets the eye.
up next: new Jenny Lawson! I am so excited about this one. It’s more self-help than memoir, but I have heard nothing but good things about it. How to Be Okay When Nothing Is Okay. Look for it in bookstores everywhere.
