I have finally gotten back into reading. I didn’t accomplish much the last couple of months, but now I’m ready for all the books again. Let’s do 2026!
Currently, I’m reading The Viper, the latest from Brad Meltzer in his Zig and Nola series. And it’s fascinating so far! I hope to write this one up this week.
I’ve also started the new Lizzy Dent, Drive Me Crazy, about an F1 driver and the woman who has taken over the team. These are some great characters, and I love the setting! I can’t wait to read more of this sweet romance.
I’ve also started Dandelion Is Dead, out this Tuesday. It’s about a woman who answers a stranger’s message on her sister’s dating app and agrees to meet with him. But her sister is dead. So she’s pretending to be her sister while creating a double life with this handsome stranger. I’m not too far in yet, but this one is intriguing.
There are already good January books flooding the shelves of your local bookstores and libraries. I’m already behind, having ended last year with some personal struggles (and a nasty cold), but I’m ready to put in some good hours of reading. January is perfect for lying on the couch with a soft blanket and a cup of tea and a stack of books. Bonus points for kitten snugs!
