Gah, it has been some rough weeks at work. And this one will not be much better. So here I am, a book reviewer with tired eyes and allergy issues that are starting to affect my ears, so I’m not sure how many books I’ll be able to cover this week. Sorry in advance. But I would also say this: it’s officially June. It’s summer. Go to your favorite book place and stock up on summer books and head to the pool or the beach or the sofa and enjoy them.

currently reading: Courtroom Drama, about a woman who was trying to get on the jury for a big murder trial, and finds herself not only on the jury but sequestered with the boy she first dated in high school. I am so looking forward to seeing how this goes.

I’m still reading The Influencers, albeit slowly. It’s bananas though.

I’m also reading Big Dumb Eyes by comedian Nate Bargatze. I’d heard a lot of people talk about how funny he is, and I needed some funny, so there you go. ‘

up next: trying to find a more effective antihistamine, I think. And trying to get some sleep despite another stressful week at work. And just trying to enjoy the feeling of summer before the temperatures soar and I just want to hide in the air conditioned inside all the time.
