So I had four days off in a row, and my plan was to get ahead on my reviews. Lol. I did not. But I did get some reading done.
currently reading: I’m almost finished with Death and Dinuguan, the latest in Mia P. Manansala’s Tito Rosie’s Kitchen Mystery. Like the others in the series, this one is fun and filled with tasty, tempting foods throughout. More about all that very soon.
I’m also listening to Best Offer Wins, about a couple trying to find a house in the crowded Washington D.C. market. They’ve had 11 offers rejected and now Margo is ready to try anything. It’s not just about adding some extra cash to the offer. They tried that and failed. Now she is out to get the house of her dreams, and if that means infiltrating the lives of the happy couple who lives there, so be it. I have a feeling this one is going to get pretty unhinged, and I can’t wait.
up next: it’s all about death, in The Grim Reaper’s Guide to Cheating Death, out Tuesday. Or maybe it’s not all about death, just about cheating? I missed the first one in this series, so this will be getting a first taste of the grim reaper as a solver of crimes, so it should be fun.
Also, I won' this beauty in a Goodreads giveaway, so thanks to Scribner to sending it my way. I think it will be lots of dark fun!
