it just feels like life has been kicking my butt this year. I think I’m just stressed and tired, and my brain is having trouble retaining information, paying attention, and putting words together. But I keep trying. Right now, I’m trying to sleep better. It’s going okay. Next up: work on sleeping longer.
currently reading: I am still reading the new Agatha Raisin. Truth be told, I got about halfway through and felt like I didn’t have any idea what was going on, so I started it all over again. I’m also still reading the latest Frankie Elkins book (by Lisa Gardner), Kiss Her Goodbye. It is heart-breaking.
I’m also reading The Dysfunctional Family’s Guide to Murder, which is a goofy YA mystery about an Australian family in the wake of a family death. 14-year-old Ruth has decided to take her love of Agatha Christie and put it to the test as she tries to solve the murder of her step-grandmother. It’s a little wacky, a little darkly humorous, and pretty smart and I’m having a lot of fun with it.
up next: right now, that is anyone’s guess. But I’m still trying!
