currently reading: I’m working on finishing My Wife Is Missing for Monday. It just keeps getting crazier as I learn more about this couple. The secrets and piling up, so there is a lot happening under the surface that is slowly bubbling up. I’ve also started All Fired Up by Dylan Newton. If you remember her How Sweet It Is, where the event planner fell for the horror writer/secret romance writer, then maybe you remember lead character Kate has a best friend who is the book publicist for the writer. Well, All Fired Up is about her and her turn at romance. How Sweet It Is is a charming rom com, with humor, warmth, and plenty of sweet heat. I’m expecting more of the same in this one. I can’t wait to dive back in! I’ve also started listening to Notes on Your Sudden Disappearance. It’s about the relationship between two teenage sisters and a local boy, and I can’t wait to hear more. This one comes out Tuesday, and it’s one to watch for!
up next: Watch for beach reads. It’s that time of year, and if you’re looking for a romance, a thriller, or just something heart-warming to read by the pool, by the beach, or by the air conditioning, you’ll be able to find it all. And the long-awaited sequel to Tom Perrotta’s Election, Tracy Flick Can’t Win, out June 7. And as a bonus for those of use who like audio books, they’re finally giving up an audio version of Election too, so you can listen to the original novel and the sequel this summer. Yay!
