just finished: The Secret Recipe for Moving On, a ya novel about a young woman who is dumped brutally by her boyfriend, only to get stuck in home ec class with him. And the girl he dumped her for. It’s adorable, so much fun, lots of happy snark, and it was exactly the book I needed to lose myself in this weekend.
currently reading: We are swamped at work right now, so my reading time is cut back. But I am still reading Too Good to Be True (in fact, I just hit on a paradigm shifting twist, and I can’t wait to see how it plays out!). And this week I’m trying to finish Just Eat, about a man who tried all the diets (not all at the same time, obviously). And I’ve got Rodney Scott’s new barbecue cookbook, because: deliciousness.
up next: At Home in the Kitchen, new cookbook from David Kinch, out this Tuesday. Kinch knows everyone in cooking, and they line up to talk about how much they love his cooking. He is a chef’s chef, so you know these recipes are going to be top shelf. Can’t wait to dive in! This is clearly a very foodie week, so grab a fork and get ready!
