just finished: nothing. It’s one of those weeks.

currently reading: I’m deep in The New Husband, wondering if I’m right about what’s going down or if there will be a huge twist. I’ve also started reading Good Boy, a memoir told in 7 dogs. It coms out Tuesday, and it has a big twist to it. I’m going to say what that is, because it happens pretty quickly in the book and is key. The author, Jennifer Finney Boylan, was born male. The “Good Boy” in the title is not just about the dogs. It’s about her childhood. This is a very different book than I was expecting, but the writing is beautiful, and if my brain lets me focus enough to read this week, I will be most interested to see where the book goes.
