recently finished: Craig Ferguson’s latest memoir. It was fascinating. I listened on audio, which made it so much better because he reads it himself. Loved it!
currently reading: I’m diving deep into Hank Phillippi Ryan’s The Murder List, which is interesting and complex, and I can’t wait to see where it goes. I’m also listening to Ottessa Moshfegh’s My Year of Rest and Relaxation, which is great to listen to, if for no other reason than I finally get to hear a professional pronounce her name for me. I’m never sure if I can. And I’m obsessed with a tell-all-and-then-some novel about a messy Hollywood divorce, Been There, Married That. It’s written by a bona fide Hollywood ex-wife, and she spills it all in a lovely, acidic, supersmart satire that I’m loving so incredibly unbelievably much. It’s not out until early next year, but when that happens, I will be talking about it all the time and maybe taking the time to reread it because I am loving it so, so very much.
up next: This is the season for gift books starring cats, so I get to read All Cats are Introverts by the author of Claw the System and I Could Pee on This as well as I’m Sorry I Barfed on Your Bed Again. So! Much! Cuteness!
