recently finished: A Spoonful of Time, about a girl who finds out that her grandmother can time travel to memories that are food-related. It’s got a crazy twist to it, but mostly it’s about family. And about the foods of their memories.

currently reading: I’m listening to Blind Spots, a futuristic novel about a policeman trying to catch a murder that he can’t see. In this world, everyone went blind, so now most everyone wears a vidder, a sort of set of virtual reality glasses that provide vision directly to the brain. But when a woman is murdered right in front of him, and he saw nothing but a dark blur where the killer was, he has to figure out what went wrong with his vidders and try to catch an invisible killer.

up next: Mary Berry, formerly of my beloved Great British Bake-Off, is coming out with her revised Baking Bible, and Clarkson Potter was so kind as to send me a copy. I am excited! I can’t wait to dive in and enjoy the Berry!
