currently reading: I’m still struggling to read, but I’m also still listening to audio books. Right now I’m listening to Wreck the Halls, and it’s so amazing! Two adult children of rock stars who had a messy band breakup are making a reality show trying to get the band back together (literally). These characters are fantastic, and haven’t even met the moms yet.

I’m also listening to Sue Grafton’s G Is for Gumshoe, where an old enemy put a hit out on Kinsey, and she’s had to hire another P.I. to act as her bodyguard. This is a fun one, and I am having a lot of fun with it.

I’m also listening to The French Art of Living Well, which I started reading earlier this year and got distracted by something shiny. I scored a great deal on this one in Audible’s Black Friday sale, so I’m listening. And I am so jealous of author Cathy Yandell for her experiences in France. This is a great book, and while I am happy to stay home on my sofa most weekends, listening to this one does make me want to go back to Europe, as the last time I went I did not make it to France. Or Italy. Or Germany. Or Spain. (I’m going to stop, as this could go one for a while).

up next: I downloaded one of my favorites, Bridget Jones’ Diary (audio, obvi), to prepare for my yearly jaunt to the magical land that Helen Fielding has created for me and all the millions of Bridget fans.
