Wow, these have been some rough weeks. This one will be also, but I think things will calm down after this week. But I do have some cookbooks hanging around I’ve been wanting to talk about, so I am hoping to get at least some reviewed this week. And in checking that out, I have learned that one of my all-time favorite bakers from The Great British Baking Show has a new cookbook coming out in March. Kim-Joy is bringing more of her homemade joy to us all with Bake Me a Cat, 50 recipes for edible cats, made in cake and cookies and more. I am so ready!

currently reading: I’m still reading To Get to the Other Side, about the woman who chased the chicken across the road. It’s so sweet and lovely, and while I don’t have a lot of extra time to read right now, I’m enjoying the longer journey. But once we get past this work stress, past the holidays, get a chance to sleep, and then I want to read all the things! New year, new books!
