recently finished: First off, an apology for not posting anything all week. It was a crazy week, starting with my mother in the hospital (she’s fine now, very thankful!), and then there were so many issues at work. I tried to write, but no words came. Also, very few words came Wednesday evening, when I stopped in after work and ordered a bowl to go and a . . . (long awkward pause while I do everything I can to remember the word “quesadilla,” Eventually, still nothing. The lovely young woman working behind the line figured it out and took care of me.) Tuesday night I tried to write. Wednesday I didn’t even turn on the computer. I am hoping this is a better week! But I did finish the new Agatha Raisin, which was (obviously) fantastic!

currently reading: Reading Adorkable, which is just as adorable as it sounds. I’m also reading Sara Shepherd’s new Reputation, and to be honest, I’m not sure what’s going on. I mean, there’s a lot going on—a LOT— as the Ivy League university got hacked and everyone’s emails were put online for all to read, so secrets are coming out and a man is murdered. But I can’t yet tell which is the true story and what’s just noise and distraction. However, the ride is a lot of fun, so I definitely recommend this one! I’ve also been reading a book about mental health using comics about pigeons, Bird Brain, which is awfully cute too, and a book on Nidra Yoga, which is a meditative yoga that can help you sleep. Yes, please!

up next: A book of restorative yoga poses and a new baking cookbook that’s geared toward beginners. I love those.
