recently finished: Blood Sisters by Jane Corry, whose My Husband's Wife I read not too long ago.  This is a woman who knows her way around a twisty plot! Sarah Andersen's Herding Cats, which comes out this week. And the second book in the Gibson Vaughn series, Poisonfeather. I recently reviewed the first in the series, The Short Drop. And I'll be heading into book 3, Cold Harbor, very soon.

currently reading: Lynn Cahoon's Of Murder and Men, a cozy set in a writer's retreat. And the other books I was reading last week. I got distracted, but this week I want to get back to them. I may have some issues staying on track from time to time. Michelle McNamara's I'll Be Gone in the Dark. Nova Jacobs' The Last Equation of Isaac Severy. Gregory Thornberry's Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music?

up next: Frances Mayes, who wrote about her love affair with Italy in Under the Tuscan Sun (among other books), has written a novel, and I am excited to read it! And because thinking of Frances Mayes makes me think of Italy, I'm also going to tackle recent releases The Italian Party and The Italian Teacher. Hopefully you'll be seeing more about all those in the next couple of weeks, along with some other fun surprises.
